Pictured here is my brother holding my daughter for the first time. This picture is more than just a cute photo to keep, it is the moment that the two more formative people in my life met. Zach and Lucy forever will be a part of our lives. Like with Zach, we began start to advocate for, write, and speak regularly about our daughter. My faith in particular has been tested time and time again in battles with mental health, loved ones battling cancers, trying to find equality, fighting to live, and the grief and loss that comes with death. I desire to journey with you in your relationship with God. I look forward to grabbing a coffee.

Sam has been and continues to be an individual that I can only aspire to grow to be; she is kindhearted, accepting, and showers love and happiness to all those she meets. When Sam first became my coach, we instantly clicked. I remember going home to tell my parents about how I excited I was for the upcoming season because I had such a wonderful individual guiding me. Aside from being literally the best coach ever, she has inspired me. This year I started advocating against human rights violations in India. Throughout my journey Sam has stood with me. She has motivated me and supported me far more than I ever expected anyone to do so. I truly believe that aside from God and my parents, it is because of Sam that I’ve had the confidence to raise my voice for those who have been rendered voiceless. I’d come back from protests, rallies, fundraisers, political coalitions and the first person I’d talk to would be Sam. I’m forever indebted to her for her kindness and support and truly never expected that she’d have such a large impact on my life. She is not only a great ally but a role model to me of an empowered women who uplifts other women through faith and conviction.
Samantha Jones is an excellent coach. Her guiding principle is to help students grow and learn not for awards and recognitions, but because she truly wants her students to fulfill their potential and pass their gifts onto others. Students who work with Samantha know that she cares tremendously about them as people. Samantha is an innovative, dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic leader.
